Discover one of the most scenic climbs in Altai — an ascent to the summit with panoramas of the Katun, Kucherla, and Belukha itself. A gentle serpentine trail past a shepherd's camp, and a profusion of grasses and flowers on the way to alpine meadows. Unforgettable views, a picnic at altitude and the feeling of a real mountain adventure await you at the top!
Comfortable start: Transport will take you to the foot of the mountain (4 km).
Scenic ascent: A clear trail with a gradual serpentine climb leads through a shepherd's camp with a hut by a stream (1500 m). Be prepared for a delightful journey through grasses and flowers taller than a man!
Alpine meadows: Closer to the summit, the trail leads to alpine meadows.
Summit: Enjoy a rest with a snack and breathtaking panoramas of the Terektinsky Range, the bends of the Katun River, the blue ribbon of the Kucherla River, the villages of Katanda, Tyungur, and Kucherla, and the entire Katun Range with majestic Belukha on the horizon. In June there may be snow on the summit, so be prepared for wind.
